TriPeaks Prime is peaks solitaire, played the classic way: clear three peaks of cards by taking anything one rank above or below the card on your pile. Aces run both ways, so a King will take an Ace and an Ace will take a two. String matches together without touching the stock and every card in the run is worth more than the last.

EVERY DEAL CAN BE WON
Most solitaire games will happily deal you a hand that was impossible from the first card. TriPeaks Prime solves each deal before it reaches the table, and deals again if it cannot be won. So a lost game is a move you could have avoided, not bad luck.

A HINT THAT ACTUALLY HELPS
Ask for a hint and you are shown a move that keeps the game winnable, worked out from the whole deal rather than the first match it happens to see. Follow the hint and you will finish.

TWO TABLES
Play flat against a photograph - a beach, a river at dusk, a temple stair, frangipani - or tip the table into 3D and watch the cards lie on green felt. Switch between them whenever you like, in the middle of a game.

MAKE IT YOURS
Ten backgrounds, five card backs and four sets of cards, from the plain deck to aged, pirate and pixel art, unlocked as you play.

KEEP SCORE
Your best score and fastest time sit on the table in front of you, and every finished game is rated out of three stars. Game Center leaderboards and achievements are there if you want to measure yourself against anyone else.

EVERY DEAL CAN BE WON
A new solver checks each deal before it is dealt and deals again if it cannot be won. About one deal in a hundred was impossible before.

THE HINT KNOWS THE WHOLE DEAL
The hint used to point at the first matching card it found, and roughly one hint in fifty named a move that threw the game away — which happened at least once in a third of games. It now shows a move that keeps the game winnable.

You can also play the card the hint is glowing on. Pressing Hint used to lock out your taps for as long as the glow lasted, most annoyingly on the very card it was telling you to play.

FIXED
• Undo was permanently greyed out and could not be used at all
• Game Center achievements and scores were reported under another game's identifiers, so Game Center discarded every one of them
• Switching to 3D discarded the background you had chosen, and you could not get it back
• In 3D, taps landed on the wrong card, and the card outlines on the table did not line up with the cards
• The 3D table showed the wrong surface, and cards flipped by squashing instead of turning over
• A pale stripe ran down the edge of the 2D table
• Opening the game while already holding the device in landscape drew every card about two thirds too wide, and it only came right if you turned the device over and back
• Scores above 250 and 500 never recorded their achievements
• Settings saved by older versions are now carried forward instead of ignored 2.0 Oct 8 Better instructions
